Mr. Mohammad Riyaz Akhter is an expert in genetic testing technologies, cytogenetics, and molecular biology with more than 12 years of experience. He currently works as The Operation Manager at Hortman Stem Cell Laboratory in Dubai. He is proficient in Next-generation sequencing (NGS) systems such as Illumina, Ion GeneStudio S5, and MGI, as well as PGT(A/M) and NIPS. Additionally, Mr. Riyaz has expertise in cell culture, FISH, karyotyping, and microarray. Mr. Riyaz has recently received training in the management of iPSC cell culture and its differentiation into various cell types, making a substantial contribution to the field of stem cell and regenerative medicine.
Mr. Riyaz, who has a track record of success in both scientific and clinical settings, has been instrumental in the construction and acquisition of labs for numerous esteemed healthcare organizations, such as G42 Healthcare, MedGenome, India, and Hortman Stem Cell Laboratory.
