Dr Moiad Alazzam is a distinguished Consultant Gynaecological Oncology Surgeon at Oxford\n University Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust, UK. Moreover, he holds dual certification in\n Obstetrics & Gynaecology and Subspecialty Gynaecological Oncology from the Royal College of\n Obstetricians and Gynaecologists (RCOG), London. Renowned for his commitment to advancing\n women\u2019s health, he actively integrates education, innovation, and research into his practice. He\n applies these principles across both his clinical work and his academic roles.<\/p>\n

With a strong international footprint, Dr Alazzam contributes extensively to global collaborative\n research, authoring numerous papers in leading peer-reviewed journals. He also serves as an\n editor for several scientific publications, playing a pivotal role in shaping future directions\n in gynaecological oncology. His expertise is regularly sought after at national and\n international conferences. He chaired the BSGE Guidelines Committee and co-authored the widely\n referenced RCOG Green-top Guidelines on Endometrial Hyperplasia.<\/span><\/p>\n

A highly skilled surgeon, he specialises in complex gynaecological oncology, including radical\n ovarian cancer surgery, placenta accreta spectrum (PAS) management, and advanced minimal access\n techniques.Moreover, his interest in microsurgery and fertility-preserving procedures\n underscores his patient-centred approach to personalised care.Since 2017, Dr Alazzam has built a\n respected medicolegal practice, providing expert opinion and testimony in oncology, general\n gynaecology, PAS, and minimally invasive surgery cases.<\/p>\n
