Dr. Hafeez Rahman is a renowned Consultant Gynaecologist and Laparoscopic Surgeon with over 25 years of experience in the field. He is currently the Head of the Department of Obstetrics & Gynaecology at Sunrise Hospital, where he has performed the highest number of laparoscopic surgeries, totaling more than 120,000. Dr. Rahman is a pioneer in laparoscopic surgery and has conducted several first-of-its-kind surgeries in the UAE, Bangladesh, Malaysia, South Africa, and Sri Lanka.<\/p>\n

Dr. Rahman holds an MBBS, MD, DNB, and FCLS degree and has authored several international publications and chapters in medical books on Laparoscopy. He is also the Director of the Center for Advanced Gynec Endoscopy and has held several prestigious assignments throughout his career, including Vice President of IMAGES and Hon. Joint Secretary of FOGSI. He has also chaired the FOGSI and Indian Society of Minimal Access & Gynecological Societies of India and was the Vice President of the Young Talent Promotion Committee.<\/p>\n

Dr. Rahman has received numerous awards for his contributions to the field of laparoscopic surgery, including the World Medical Council Award and the Shan Ratnam Award \u2013 AOFOG, Singapore. He is credited with conducting the largest series of laparoscopic surgeries and Laparoscopic Hysterectomies in the world, as well as the removal of the largest uterus (4.9kg weight) in the world. Apart from laparoscopic surgery, Dr. Rahman is also an expert in high-risk obstetrics, urogynecology, minimally invasive surgery, infertility treatment, sling surgeries, vaginal and abdominal hysterectomy, and mesh repair. He has devised his own methods for surgeries such as Vaginal Hysterectomy, Vaginal Myomectomy, Vaginal uterine suturing, Uterine inversion correction, and Laparoscopic cervical cerclage.<\/p>\n

Dr. Rahman has conducted more than 230 international workshops, seminars, and conferences in Gynec endoscopy as faculty and has trained over 3500 gynecologists across the globe in the art of laparoscopic surgery.
