Dr. Fadi G. Mirza, M.D., F.A.C.O.G., is a distinguished consultant in Fetal and Maternal Medicine and Obstetrics and Gynecology. With his extensive experience and expertise in the field, Dr. Mirza has become a leading figure in high-risk pregnancy and morphological ultrasounds.
Dr. Mirza earned his Doctor of Medicine from the American University of Beirut in 2002. He then completed his residency in Obstetrics and Gynecology at Tufts University in Boston from 2003-2007. Following his residency, Dr. Mirza did a fellowship in Maternal-Fetal Medicine at Columbia University in New York from 2007-2010. During his fellowship, Dr. Mirza became a part of the faculty and presented numerous scientific abstracts and published peer-reviewed articles.
Dr. Mirza has been a member of the American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists since he became a fellow. Additionally, he is a Diplomate of the American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology, Chairman of the Scientific Committee for the Lebanese Society of Obstetrics and Gynecology, and a member of the Society for Maternal-Fetal Medicine.
Currently, Dr. Mirza is an attending physician in the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology at the American University of Beirut Medical Center in Beirut, Lebanon. He has been serving in this capacity since 2011. Before that, he was an attending physician at Columbia University Medical Center in New York from 2010-2011.
Dr. Mirza’s passion for research and dedication to his field have earned him several prestigious awards. He was the recipient of the Award of Research Excellence from the Society for Maternal-Fetal Medicine in 2011. He was also recognized for his Outstanding Fellow Paper in 2010 at the New York Obstetrical Society Resident and Fellow Research Day. Additionally, Dr. Mirza was invited to the National Institutes of Health and Excellence in Women’s Healthcare in 2009.
