Dr. Osama Khaled is a board-certified specialist in Obstetrics and Gynecology with over 15 years of experience in advanced pelvic surgery. He is a Collegiate Member of the Royal College of Physicians of Ireland (MRCPI) and has extensive expertise in minimally invasive and open surgical techniques for both benign and malignant gynecological conditions.
Dr. Khaled completed advanced training in laparoscopic and hysteroscopic surgery at Kerry University Hospital, Ireland, where he specialized in high-risk obstetrics, urogynecology, and endometriosis management. He has also played a key role in improving maternity care protocols. Notably, Dr. Osama Khaled has worked on optimizing Caesarean section rates. Additionally, he has contributed to enhancing infection control and VTE prevention following gynecologic surgery.
Currently, Dr. Osama Khaled runs a Minimally Invasive Surgery Clinic at Khalidi Hospital in Amman, managing complex obstetric cases such as placenta accreta spectrum, postpartum hemorrhage, and difficult Caesarean sections. Previously, he served as Program Director for the Obstetrics and Gynecology Department at Jordan Hospital (2016-2019), leading training programs for junior doctors and midwives.
Beyond his clinical practice, Dr. Khaled is actively involved in medical education, having lectured in Clinical Embryology and Assisted Reproduction (IVF) at the University of Jordan, Philadelphia University, and Talal Abu-Ghazaleh University. His dedication to teaching, research, and innovation in gynecologic surgery continues to shape the future of women’s health.
