Prof. Vlad Iustin Tica

Prof. Vlad Iustin Tica is an acknowledged professor of obstetrics and gynecology at Ovidius University in Constanța, Romania, and the Director of the Medicine Doctoral School. With over three decades of clinical, academic, and research experience, he has built a distinguished career in obstetrics and gynecology. Currently, he heads the field of urogynecology, minimally invasive gynecologic surgery, reproductive medicine, and ultrasound techniques.
Prof. Vlad Iustin Tica has served as the Head of the Obstetrics and Gynecology Department at the University County Emergency Hospital “Saint Apostle Andrei” for more than 20 years. Furthermore, he has also held several key leadership, positions at both national and international levels, including serving as Vice President of the Romanian College of Physicians and holding executive and advisory positions with prominent European and global professional organizations.
Moreover, Prof. Tica is an accomplished researcher with over 650 scientific publications, 31 authored books, an H-index of 20, and multiple invention patents. He is an internationally invited professor and speaker. Consequently, he actively advances clinical guidelines, doctoral education, and high-level gynecologic training throughout Europe and beyond.
