Dr. Mandeep Singh is a highly experienced Maternal and Fetal Medicine Consultant with over two decades of clinical expertise. He is currently the CEO of Burjeel Farha and the Director of Kypros Nicolaides Fetal Medicine and Therapy Center. Dr. Singh has an impressive track record in obstetrics and gynecology, and his knowledge and experience make him a valuable addition to the Burjeel Farha team.
Dr. Singh has held several notable positions throughout his career, including his role as the former Medical Director for the Women’s & Children’s Division at Mid and South Essex NHS Foundation Trust. He has served as a Consultant in Obstetrics and Gynecology with a subspecialty in Fetal Maternal Medicine, a Lead Consultant in Fetal Medicine and Research and Development, and a Lead Consultant for a Maternal and Neonatal Health Safety Collaborative. Additionally, as a Group Clinical Director, he has overseen the merger of three NHS foundation trusts into a single organization.
Dr. Singh has made significant contributions to obstetrics and gynecology, with several published papers, reviewed articles, and book chapters to his name. He has also served as the Principal Investigator for various studies, including the SPREE study for pre-eclampsia screening, the STATIN study of pravastatin versus placebo for the prevention of late preeclampsia, and the EVENTS study into the prevention of preterm birth in twin pregnancies. Dr. Singh’s areas of expertise include the management of multiple pregnancies, preeclampsia, preterm delivery, and previous pregnancy loss.
In addition to his clinical work, Dr. Singh is an Honorary Consultant at Kasturba Medical College in Manipal and the Fetal Medicine Research Institute at King’s College Hospital in London. He has also completed several training programs, including the Nye Bevan Leadership Program. And he holds several certifications, including CCT in Obstetrics and Gynecology, CCT in Fetal and Maternal Medicine, and Diplomas in Fetal Medicine and Advanced Obstetric Ultrasound.
