Dr. Carol Coughlan

Profile

Dr. Carol Coughlan is a consultant gynecologist with a lot of experience and skills. She is also an expert in reproductive medicine and surgery and is the Medical Director of ART Fertility Clinics in Dubai. With an educational background from the University College Cork, Ireland, she graduated with honors in 1997 and went on to earn her medical degree in reproductive medicine from the University of Sheffield, UK, in 2013.

Dr. Coughlan’s expertise lies in the field of fertility preservation, especially for oncology reasons. She has a particular interest in recurrent implantation failure and recurrent miscarriage, leading to several publications and presentations nationally and internationally. Before relocating to Dubai, she was the Clinical Director at Rotunda/IVF, the National Oncofertility Center at Rotunda Hospital in Dublin, Ireland.

Dr. Coughlan has earned several degrees, including a Certificate of Satisfactory Completion of Specialist Training in 2013, an RCOG Subspecialist in Reproductive Medicine and Surgery in 2013, and a Postgraduate Certificate in Medical Education from Dundee in 2009. She has also earned memberships in the Royal College of Physicians of Ireland (MRCPI) in 2004 and the Royal College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists (MRCOG) in 2003. In 2015, she was given the Fellowship of the Royal College of Physicians in Ireland (FRCPI) and the Fellowship of the Royal College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists (FRCOG).

Dr. Coughlan is well-known in her field and has worked on a number of research projects about reproductive medicine and surgery. She works hard to give her patients the best care and treatment possible, and her knowledge has helped many couples realize their dream of having children.
