Dr Mohammed Salem is a highly experienced Consultant in Cardiothoracic Anaesthesia and Intensive Care Medicine. He has practised for more than 20 years. He has served in various leadership roles, including Clinical Lead for Cardiothoracic Anaesthesia and Critical Care, and latterly as Clinical Director at Oxford Health Tech Labs. With an MBA and a Master’s in Patient Safety and Human Factors, he is dedicated to advancing safe, innovative, and high-quality healthcare.

Dr Salem is a well-respected physician known for his dedication to clinical excellence, technology-enabled care and a patient-centric approach. His work spans perioperative management, complex cardiothoracic procedures, and the integration of human-factors principles into clinical systems. In addition to his clinical work, Dr Mohammed Salem is an examiner for the European Society of Anaesthesia and Intensive Care Medicine, working toward global standards and training programs.
