Prof. Osama Shawki

Profile 

Prof. Osama Shawki is a Gynecology Surgery Professor at Cairo University’s School of Medicine. Dr. Shawki, a pioneer in endoscopic surgery, has not only advanced the possibilities of minimally invasive procedures but has also revolutionized the field of hysteroscopy. Hundreds of successful live-surgery workshops in over 40 locations worldwide attest to the world-renowned expert’s magic touch, which he imparts on his trainees. Dr. Shawki’s reputation grows with each huge step forward in his realm of women’s healthcare, making him a unique classic in the ever-evolving world of endoscopy. 

He completed his medical education at Cairo University and  Kasr Al-Ainy Medical School. He has been the Editor of the European Journal of Gynecologic Surgery. Dr. Osama Shawki has also served as the Faculty Professor at Giessen School of endoscopy in Germany. He is also a Board member of the International Society Gynecologic Endoscopy (ISGE). Moreover, Dr. Osama Shawki is the Director of Ebtesama center for advanced endoscopic surgery Director of H.A.R.T, Hysteroscopy Academy for Research and Training.
